Alumni Awards

Each year the Louisburg College Alumni Association presents special awards to alumni and community leaders to recognize their professional accomplishments and dedicated service to the college. If you know a deserving alumnus or community leader who meets the criteria for a particular award, you can make a nomination by submitting a form online; see below.

Distinguished Alumnus Award

The association established the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1978. They bestow it upon outstanding alumni ambassadors of Louisburg College who personify the college’s highest foundational values and are renowned in their community, family, and church.

Dr. Cecil W. Robbins Public Service Award

The association established the Dr. Cecil W. Robbins Public Service Award in 1997 in honor of former Louisburg College President Dr. Cecil W. Robbins. This award tributes an alum or member of the community who has shown exceptional dedication to Louisburg College by contributing outstanding and meaningful service to the college. The association bases the selection upon contributions of time, effort, commitment, and enrichment of the mission and standing of Louisburg College.
